Hello, neighbor 👋

Fresh from my kitchen
to your table.

I'm Peter, and I love to bake. Warm bagels, golden English muffins, crackly sourdough loaves, soft sandwich bread — if it's flour and patience, I'm in. This isn't a shop. Just tell me what you'd love, and I'll bake it fresh for you.

Things I love baking

A few of my favorites

These are the bakes I come back to again and again — but my oven is always up for something new. If you don't see what you want, ask anyway.

  • Bagels

Hand-rolled, kettle-boiled, baked till chewy. Plain, sesame, everything, or whatever you dream up.

  • English Muffins

Fork-split, full of nooks and crannies — made for butter, jam, and a slow Sunday morning.

  • Sourdough Boule

Crackly crust, tangy crumb. Built from a starter I've been feeding longer than I'd like to admit.

  • Sourdough Sandwich Bread

Soft and sliceable, with all the flavor of sourdough. Toast it, sandwich it, French-toast it.

  • Crusty Baguettes

Long, golden, and shattering on the outside. Best eaten within hours — which is the whole point.

  • Something new

I'm always experimenting — miso brioche, rye pretzels, focaccia gardens. Have an idea? Let's try it.

About Peter

Baking is my favorite kind of slow.

I started baking because I wanted bread that tasted like the loaves I grew up with. A few hundred attempts later, I'm still chasing it — and having way too much fun along the way.

What I love most is the experiments: a new flour, a longer ferment, a strange idea at 11pm. If you've got a request that sounds a little adventurous, that's the kind of message I get excited about. Tell me what you're hungry for.
